For Shopware 6

Better search for Shopware 6

SE10 replaces the standard search via plugin — installed in an hour, with no search infrastructure of your own.

Now in beta — free for the first shops.

Where the standard search hits limits

Shopware’s standard search is solid for getting started. As catalogs grow, limits show up around:

typos and word variants

part numbers in different notations

dimensions and ranges typed into the search

finer control over ranking

multilingual catalogs without duplicate maintenance

The usual way out: Elasticsearch

For more demanding search, Shopware connects to Elasticsearch or OpenSearch. That improves the technology, but brings its own operations: servers, updates, monitoring and the know-how to run it.

SE10 delivers the result without the infrastructure.

What changes with SE10

Typos get corrected

With a visible “did you mean” hint — customers land on the right results instead of zero hits.

Part numbers, any notation

With spaces, hyphens or without: SE10 recognizes the number and finds the product.

Dimensions become filters

Ranges typed into the search narrow down the results — like a set range filter.

Every sales channel language

One index for all languages of your shop — no duplicate data maintenance.

More than products

Categories, guides and content pages appear as their own results.

See what people search for

Search statistics and a zero-results report in your own customer area: your assortment from your customers’ view.

Frequently bought together

Recommendations from your past orders, analyzed anonymously — on the product page and in the cart.

Data sheets searched too

The PDF attachments of your products are read; a value from a data sheet leads to the product.

Up and running in three steps

01

Install the plugin

A Shopware 6 plugin, validated against the store guidelines.

02

Sync your datavariant export in progress

A full export at the start, then continuous updates whenever products change.

03

Activate the search

Enabled per sales channel; the plugin ships the /suche search page.

If SE10 goes down, Shopware’s standard search takes over automatically.

Common questions

Does SE10 replace the Shopware search completely?

Yes — the header search and the /suche search page come from SE10. The standard search stays installed and takes over automatically if SE10 ever fails to answer.

Does it work with Shopware 6.7?

Yes, that’s what the plugin is built for.

Do I need Elasticsearch?

No. SE10 brings its own search stack — you run no search infrastructure of your own.

What happens on a Shopware update?

The plugin follows the Shopware releases. You update it like any other plugin.

Does it work with other shop systems?

Via the API, yes. A ready-made integration exists for Shopware today — the features page shows what else is possible.
